Blue Exorcist News Update!

Read my first Blue Exorcist post for more anime info.

Aniplex of America announced today, Friday April 8th, that it will broadcast the television anime Blue Exorcist via these video streaming sites in the U.S. and Canada: Hulu (and Hulu Plus), Anime News Network (ANN), Crunchyroll, and Viz Anime. After its week-long delay, the series is set to premier April 20 at 10:00AM (PST), three days after its premier in Japan.

The official Japanese website for Blue Exorcist announced on Monday April 4th that the anime’s first two Blu-ray and DVD volumes will include “Ura-Eku” (“B-Side Exorcist”) extras in Japan. Aniplex plans on shipping the first couple of volumes late July. Each Japanese limited edition volume comes with tarot cards, a drama CD, postcards, and event forms. The special tarot cards and illustrated postcards are designed by Keigo Sasaki, creator of the original Ao no Exorcist manga.

The official English site has already been set up! A character guide, “Guide to Satan”, cast list, section for news updates, and introduction page are what is on the site, thus far. However, as the North American simulcast date approaches, more updates and character designs will be made available to the fans. Did I mention that the U.S. trailer was posted as well? Thanks Aniplex of America!

Well, isn't this exciting?
